25º Profiling System

The System features a 25º rhombic insert with a double clamp holder for profiling!
Technical Information:
- 25º rhombic insert with narrow ridge chip former disposes of chips efficiently
- Curved cutting edge for effective back turning
- .016" and .031" insert nose radii available
- Available in grade UE6020
- Square shank tool holders available in 5/8, 3/4, 1" as well as 16, 20 and 25 mm sizes
- Double clamping of insert insures secure retention
- Top clamp positioning insures coolant will reach cutting edge
Applications to Target:
- Machining of spherical ball ends
- Machining of trailer hitch balls
- Machine a face relief with up to a 60º incline

- All machining of parts with shallow, wide face grooves
