Mitsubishi Materials is please to announce the Product Launch of our new Modular GY Grooving System. This Modular Grooving system offers OD tool holders, modular blades and inserts to handle all your parting and grooving opportunities.

- Mitsubishi GY Modular Grooving System for OD Grooving and Parting Off
- OD parting and grooving holders in metric and inch shanks in 0 and 90 degree offerings
- Modular Blades offered in various lengths for optimum performance
- Insert sizes offered in sizes from 2mm to 6.35mm offerings
- Inserts offered in 2 PVD coated grades and cBN grade of MB8025 uncoated cBN
- Inserts offered in various edge preparations to maximize performance
Applications to Target:
- All parting and grooving applications
- Applications where high performance is important
- Applications where parting, grooving and traverse cutting in performed
- Applications where chip control is currently a problem
- Mono style groove systems that do not offered flexibility of a modular system
- Any application where cBN grooving grade MB8025 may be applied to hardened materials
