IMTS 2004Mitsubishi Materials USA Corporation, a world leader in carbide tooling extends a welcome to visit our booth E2126 at the McCormick Center in Chicago during the IMTS 2004 exposition September 8 through 15, 2004. We offer a complete range of metal cutting products for drilling, milling, turning and more. During IMTS, we will have daily product demonstrations using a Mori Seiki vertical machining center in our booth featuring SRM2, APX and WStar 8X D drill applications. Mitsubishi Carbide is confident our demonstrations and product displays will help you make the right choice for your carbide cutting tools supplier to achieve your goals of value and greater productivity.

Following are some NEW products to be featured at our booth E2126:

AJX

  • Stable cutting insured by double clamping device
  • Trigon insert shape affords economy of three cutting edges
  • AJX can feed as high as .4 inch/rev by 4 inch cutter

Dimple Bar

  • Heavy metal shank diameters ranging from 5/16” to 5/8” coolant through
  • Dimple design head reduces harmonics i.e. vibration
  • Etched scale on shank aids set up

TAF

  • New drill insert grades
  • TF15 micro grain grade polished for aluminum drilling
  • VP15TF grade for wide range of drilling applications

SRM2

  • Large diameter body resists fracture & deformation under heavy loads
  • Cutting edge diameters available ¾”, 1”,and 1-1/4” with air/coolant thru
  • New chip-breaker design insert with VP coating technology resistant to material welding which provides excellent tool life

MJ/FJ/MJ-P/FJ-P

  • Radius size from 0.002 inch for small tool applications
  • Sharp edges of FJ/MJ chipbreakers enables freer cutting and decreases cutting temperature for critical machining applications which also aids chip discharge
  • Greater tool life for aluminum applications as a result of polished chipbreakers

APX

  • Low cutting resistance due to high rake angle
  • Highly rigid body with thick back metal with air/coolant through
  • Ramping capability to 14 degrees
  • Excellent surface finish with twist rake geometry

Miracle W Star 8 X D drill

  • Cutting edge design greatly improves chip evacuation for better tool life no high pressure coolant required
  • Drilling times are reduced by 1/5 conventional drill time, (pecking cycle is not necessary)
  • Diameters available from Ø 0.125 inch to Ø 0.500 inch

TAW drill

  • Replaceable insert drill designed for customer convenience by eliminating regrind time and stock as a result of regrinding
  • Replaces brazed tip, indexable and spade type drills
  • Coolant through

M-Star / Diamond Star

  • M-Star diameter range, (metric only), is .1 ~ 12 mm
  • Diamond Star diameter range, (inch only), is 1/64 ~ 1-1/4 inch
  • Micro-grain substrate enhancing tool performance in all steel products
  • MS coating suitable for high speed dry machining
  • M-Star product available with a variety of taper angles
  • Available in a variety of lengths, styles, helix angles and corner radii

UC5015 Grade

  • High speed machining of ductile and cast iron
  • Harder tougher substrate exhibits excellent plastic deformation resistance machining at high speeds and feeds

UC5115 Grade

  • Demonstrates tremendous wear resistance and exemplary chipping resistance machining various cast irons

Small Tools

  • Wide range of insert geometries, grades including cBN and tool holders to suitsmall machining application requirements
  • Solid carbide end mills and metric tool holders compliment our small tool product line

MBC010 cBN grade

  • Provides better surface finish with special PVD coating layer
