In recent years, workpiece geometries of aerospace, medical instrument and automotive parts have become even more complicated, and the requirement for the machining of geometries that are difficult to machine with conventional ball nose end mills is increasing.
To respond to such customer demands, the VF-2WB end mil series has been developed to have a larger R-shaped cutting edge than a conventional ball nose end mill. This makes it suitable for machining more complicated geometries. Additionally, the unique cutting edge geometry helps to reduce cutting resistance, making it possible to carry out high precision machining.
Furthermore, use of the versatile VF-2WB end mill with a 5-axis machine enables machining of more complex geometries.
