Addition of corner R0.2mm inserts to the MBC020 series

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has recently developed and manufactured new corner R0.2mm negative inserts for the coated CBN grade MBC020 for hardened steel. These will start to be sold by Mitsubishi Materials Tools Corporation (President: Osamu Takata, Headquarters: 1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo).
MBC020, a general-purpose CBN grade for hardened steel is suitable for continuous to interrupted turning and enjoys a good reputation from many
customers since its initial launch. The series has now been expanded to include corner R0.2mm inserts, which makes it suitable for small corner
radius machining of bearing parts and moulds.Features of the corner R0.2mm negative inserts
