APX4000 M breaker inserts nose radii expansion

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has recently developed and manufactured a new range of inserts for its APX4000 multi-functional indexable cutter series. These will start to be sold by Mitsubishi Materials Tools Corporation (President: Osamu Takata, Headquarters: 1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo).
The innovative APX multi-functional end mill comfortably achieves three important factors necessary for a successful indexable insert milling tool – low cutting resistance, high fracture resistance and long tool life. To widen the application area available for the APX4000 series, there has been a nose radii expansion for the M breaker inserts. Key features of the M breaker inserts:

- 4 new M breaker inserts with nose radii of 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm, and 2.0mm are available, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

- In combination with Miracle coated VP15TF grade, stable tool life is ensured.
