Corner radii expansion for MICRO-MINI TWIN CB type boring bars

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has recently manufactured new corner radii for MICRO-MINI TWIN, CB type boring bar series. The new range of the series will start to be sold by Mitsubishi Materials Tools Corporation (President: Osamu Takata, Headquarters: 1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo).
The MICRO-MINI TWIN, CB type boring bars have enjoyed a good reputation especially among small CNC lathe users for high quality boring of small diameter holes. In response to strong customer demands for a wider selection of corner radii, the range of corner radii for the series has now been expanded to widen the application area available for these boring bars.Features of new MICRO-MINI TWIN, CB type boring bars

- Corner radii of 0.1mm and 0.2mm are available standard. (ø5.0mm size is only for R0.2mm)

- A MIRACLE coated VP15TF grade in addition to a non-coated TF15 grade is available.
