AXD7000 milling tools for high speed machining of aluminium alloys.

AXD7000 has been designed for use in aerospace industry applications.  These tools need to be capable of operating at high spindle speeds and at large depths of cut. These demands have lead to the development of the AXD7000, which offers secure insert clamping and a large rake angle that ensures that low cutting resistance for large depth of cut machining.

High Insert Clamping Rigidity:

To ensure that AXD7000 can be used at high spindle speeds, inserts are clamped using two clamping screws ensuring high clamping rigidity.

Inserts:

Available in TF15, a non-coated micro-grain carbide and also in a diamond coated grade, LC15TF. The insert nose radii sizes include R0.8, R1.6, R2.0, R3.0, R3.2, R4.0 and R5.0.

Tool Geometries:

AXD is available in both shank and arbour types. Shank types are available in ø32 and ø40 and the arbor types are available in ø50, ø63, ø80, ø100 and ø125
