IMPACT MIRACLE Series Expansion

Mitsubishi Materials IMPACT MIRACLE end mill series was designed primarily for machining hardened materials.

Utilisation of the new IMPACT MIRACLE coating based on the popular, MIRACLE (Al,Ti,Si)N coating technology, means an increase in film hardness and heat resistant properties. These properties are made higher by using a new Single Phase Nano Crystal Coating Technology which in turn delivers a higher oxidation resistance and lower coefficient of friction for reliability and increased tool life. The extra tool life is an especially important factor to help avoid tool changes when surface finishes on large components are critical.

The end mills combine a new substrate material and PVD coating technologies from Mitsubishi Materials and Mitsubishi Materials Kobe Tools’ respectively. The coating, special cemented carbide substrate and new cutting edge geometry combine to make IMPACT MIRACLE end mills the most suitable choice for machining pre-hardened mould materials.　 The latest additions to the IMPACT MIRACLE end mill series are VF2SSB, a 2-flute, extra short shank type in sizes from R0.5mm-6mm, VFMDRB corner radius type from Ø3mm– Ø 20mm and VFSDRB corner radius type available from Ø3mm-Ø12mm. IMPACT MIRACLE now boasts a comprehensive range to match all hard material milling applications.
