New Super long Drill MPS/MSL for deep hole drilling up to 30xD

New double margin type drills for standard and deep hole drilling operations. MPS drills combine advanced geometry, substrate material and coating technology to provide a range of high performance drills for standard and deep hole drilling.

Geometry:
The new double margin flute gives better hole accuracy and improved surface finishes. In addition, the double margin provides the benefits of extra stability and less run-out when exiting on angled surfaces.

The new wave type cutting edge offers strong point geometry but with a sharp peripheral edge. Through coolant holes, even on the long drills are standard and can be efficiently coolant fed with as little pressure as 1-3MPa.
A special geometry at the top of the flute allows superior chip control and prevents the chip jamming problems normally associated with deep hole drilling.

Material Strength:-
Durability and long tool life is provided by the TF15 micro grain solid carbide substrate. The combination of this substrate with the latest Miracle coating makes MPS drills ideal for standard and deep hole drilling of mild and alloy steels through to stainless steels and cast iron.
