New IMPACT MIRACLE End Mill Series

Mitsubishi Materials Kobe Tools’ new IMPACT MIRACLE end mills are specially designed for hardened material machining. Utilisation of the new IMPACT MIRACLE coating based on the popular, MIRACLE (Al,Ti,Si)N coating, means an increase in film hardness and heat resistant properties of the coating. The film hardness and oxidation temperature of the (Al,Ti,Si)N layer are made higher by using a new Single Phase Nano Crystal Coating method.
This ensures longer tool life and durability in the tough conditions of hardened material milling.

The end mills have been developed by combining new base material and PVD coating technologies from Mitsubishi Materials and Mitsubishi Materials Kobe Tools’ respectively. The new coating, the special cemented carbide substrate and the new cutting edge geometry all combine to make IMPACT MIRACLE end mills the most suitable for machining pre-hardened mould materials.
